With the fall season right around the corner, I think it's about time I start to roll out the fashion advice you can all use a little early. This season, one of the best fall trends (and soon to be your favorite color) is claret - a dark purplish-red color than you might find in that glass of wine you enjoy having with dinner. However, since finding claret clothing might be a little difficult for those of you who don't have the time to search, I'd advise that you look for similar colors. Burgundy, wine, and dark red/purple colors would work well in incorporating the color-specific styles found on the FW13 runway shows. Also, to keep things a little interesting, you might think to add some sort of pattern (as I always suggest) to keep things fun and differentiate yourself from the next guy. Personally, I love the look of subtle accessories using this color, like the spotted tie and solid backpack pictured below. If you prefer not to accessorize, then a simple shirt and (if you can find them) a pair of pants would do well in throwing in this fall color into your wardrobe. Some simple places to look might be H&M and American Apparel who always have this color in stock. Be sure to keep your eyes out for my trend report; you don't want to be out of style, do you?
