One thing you should never overlook is how far a blazer can go. Whether or not you have an excuse to wear it, you're bound to have a need for it at some point in your life. That's why, for this season, I encourage you all to go out and purchase a blazer in a bright, bold statement color you'll only find as the leaves and collections are changing with the season. Just recently (about a week ago) I went out and bought two for myself to stay current, one in black and another in a deep, natural green. The great thing about blazers, though, is that most of them have a great contrasting lining within their sleeves and under their collars. For example, below you'll find an image of the inner-sleeve of one blazer I just recently purchased; the lining is a nice navy with a paisley detail. Also below, you can see the black blazer I purchased has a contrasting blue lining that looks really sharp and adds a nice touch to an otherwise plain look. While some of you may not cuff your coat sleeves, I again stress the significance of having a colored blazer in your wardrobe. They last a very long time and go with casual, business casual, and (on occasion) formal looks. I'd suggest staying true to the trending colors of claret (wine) and a deep or electric blue. Both are bold and classic.
