Here's a look at my Game Day style.
Hey, everyone! Sorry I disappeared for those few days. Hope you can forgive me! Anyway, every now and then, I recently find out about some pretty fun style challenges. Now, if you know me, you know I will NEVER turn down a good challenge. This time around the challenge I discovered was hosted by a site called Fanatics, giving others the chance to show off their Game Day style. (See below)
You and I both know that simplicity can go a long way. As a matter of fact, it's probably the best way to go if you plan on going to any game. Besides, if you were to walk up to any stadium in a suit (unless you're a major baller) you'd probably get tons of sideways looks. So, using one of the New Era MLB Hats I found over on the Fanatics site, I put together the outfit you see above. Pretty cool, right? I centralized the look around the high black & white contrast in the cap, considering you want people to notice the team you're repping.
With that, I always go with dark denim. Dark-washed denim paired with a super sleek black & white anything is a great look for men. Since most men are scared to think outside the box (fashion-wise) I colored within the lines for you! The bomber jacket is sick considering it already has that sort of baseball throwback vibe. Pair it with a white t-shirt and consider yourself best-dressed. Accessories are where it's at, too!
I've thrown in those awesome accessories to elevate the look. In San Francisco, everyone is always trying to look his or her best, so why not join 'em? The classic Ray-Ban Wayfarers keep you look laidback, while the Theory x MISMO backpack definitely adds a really modern aesthetic. Shoes? Those were the hardest for me to choose, but then it hit me. The Sandlot! Remember that iconic movie? I chose the classic PF Flyers worn in the movie, but added them in a sort of burgundy / cranberry color to take add a separate element to the look.
And there you have it! A look at what my Game Day style would be. Like it or love it, I think it's great. Feel free to share what you think of it in the comments below! Until next time -- Anthony
