Color is the hardest thing for me to wear, so here's my attempt at summer color.
One thing that I always find hardest to do is incorporate color into my wardrobe, at least as of late. So, the other day while I was out shopping around for some cool pieces, I happened to stop by American Apparel and found this amazing colorblock t-shirt. The reason it caught my eye is the colors are very well-assembled, meaning the natural colors combine well with the greens and blues. The colors aren't too vibrant, which doesn't sit well with my skin; my skin tone calls for muted shades (think fall / winter colors).
I went ahead and paired the shirt with my go-to black skinnies and a new pair of loafers from Donald J. Pliner. I felt the shoe's woven material mixed with white leather contrast really lightened up what could have been a very dark outfit. The hat pulled together the look with a simple, classic touch.
All in all, I loved the outfit and I thought it went well for the Sunday brunch that I attended in San Francisco. Can't wait to share the next outfit with you all. Until next time!
