I've been doing my best to push my own limits on personal style lately and I think I've been doing an OK job. I have to admit, it's been a little difficult for me to step outside my norm of black skinny jeans and white tee shirts, but this is a step in a more positive, more mature direction. Since I started working full-time in marketing, I have to look just as professional as I act. But how do I dress professionally without sacrificing the individuality I've worked so hard to create? Easy peasy - this suit.
What I love most about this Topman suit is how amazing the color is. It's vibrant and muted all at the same time. It has undertones of white / cream in the stitching which makes the set a really great fit with the off-white suede ALDO shoes I wore along with it. Overall, this green suit made me feel extremely confident in myself because of how fitted it was off the rack. The waist of the pants unfortunately stretched a bit, so I have to take them in for alterations, but that's not a big deal.
If you're going to grab professional clothing, I would say shop at Topman is you run a little on the leaner / thinner side like I do. They have a huge selection of clothing and the size 28 waist actually fits me there.
Most importantly, don't sacrifice who you are to be more like what someone else wants you to be. You are unique and an individual for a reason, so embrace it and continue finding ways to express yourself in the way you dress.
